A YOUTH carrying a hammer was found in a hotel with his face partially covered with a scarf, Tallaght Court was told. Peter Donohoe aged 21 with an address at Cloonmore Avenue, Tallaght is charged with trespassing at the Maldron Hotel with intent to commit theft and possession of a hammer for use in a burglary at the same hotel, on January 23 2010.
Sergeant Bernard Jones told Judge James McDonnell it will be alleged that on the above date, Donohoe entered the Maldron Hotel and was spotted by a member of staff. He added that the youth was wearing a black scarf covering his face and was carrying a black hammer. Judge James McDonnell remanded Donohoe on continuing bail for a week for mention.
